Hey Everyone,
I’m really excited to share a new program I am releasing called THE BOX BLUEPRINT.
Rather than telling you the details about it, I just want to show you the program. Scroll down for a breakdown on the Y Pick and why it’s the most transferable concept from field to box and box to field. And if you’re still interested after reading I can send you a copy of the video to watch for free!

🎥 The Box Blueprint Concept Work: Y-Picks From the Halfboards
Why I Started the Box Blueprint With Y-Picks
Before we get into the film, I want to share why I chose the Y-Pick for Episode 1.
Simple—it’s my favorite pick in the entire game.
Y-Picks are perfect for big, strong dodgers who love to attack the net hard.
It’s also one of the few field concepts that truly works in box lacrosse. That’s why I love it. Field to box. Box to field. The footwork, the reads, the angles—it all clicks.
Learning this action will raise your IQ in every direction. And who knows… if you hit it right in a game, you might even end up with a crease-dive highlight reel to go with it.
Bottom line: this is one of the most best picks a player can learn and execute.
Why They Work
They work because the offensive player gets multiple high-level options from one simple setup.
Why They’re So Hard to Defend
Because the approach angle and force direction can change in just a few feet as you move up or down the floor.
Because the offensive player is attacking a high-percentage scoring area, the switch has to be perfect. If it’s even a little late or sloppy, the offense ends up with a hands-free shot from a great location.
Defenders also don’t know if you’re attacking underneath or over the top—and each option demands completely different help and slide responsibilities.
Why Midfielders and Attackmen Should Steal This Immediately
This Y Pick mirrors field mechanics:
Hard jab step or split release technique
The sweeping mechanic
The S-dodge underneath
It allows you to develop Slide Dodge Mechanics
If you’re an attackmen or midfielder looking to create more separation, this is one of the easiest ways to level up fast.
How to Train It
Inside the full session, I give you three step-by-step drills to help you:
Engage your defender the right way
Time the pick action
Control your angle
Attack underneath or over the top with purpose
This is a legit 55-minute film + technique session with everything broken down clearly.
